Teams and friends

Connections, team invites, and collaboration on Pro.

Requires sign-in and Avera Pro.

Friends panel

Toggle the Friends panel from the global chrome (right side). Switch between AI and Friends tabs when both are enabled.

Find people

  1. Search for a known @username.
  2. Send a connection request.
  3. The other user accepts or declines from their Friends panel or Account page.

Connections list

View all accepted connections. From a team context, owners can invite a connection to the team.

Team invites

Pending team invites appear in the Friends panel. Accept adds the team to your library sidebar; Decline removes the invite.

Teams in the library

  1. Select a team under Teams in the library sidebar.
  2. Access shared pools, reviews, and team-visible notes.
  3. Create a team when you are allowed (team owner flows).

Team owners invite members via connections or email-based invites depending on UI entry points.

What teams enable

  • Systematic review projects and screening — Reviews
  • Team-visible notes in the notebook
  • Screening notes visible in the review sidebar
  • Cloud sync of screening decisions and collaborative content

Friends without a team

Connections alone do not share your library. Sharing happens through team membership and explicit team resources.

Account page parity

Account → Connections mirrors accept/decline and request-by-username/email flows from the Friends panel.
